The ISRA VISION Parsytec solution is not only flexible - it is complete. It not only provides the customer with a variety of software tools and features to support the different customers' requirements. First-time installer can use an intuitive tool for achieving first classification results: the Visual Classifier™. And they can start with a pre-configured defect catalog, based on ISRA VISION Parsytec's global project experience: the InstantClassifier™. They are guided through the commissioning phase by set-up wizards. To make the offer complete, base startup packages have also been defined for services and training.
Customer Roll Defect Report (CRDR)
The benefits are:
- Reduced Customer Claims. For each roll to be delivered, CRDR provides a roll-specific defect report for a thorough web quality assessment before shipment.
- Optimized repair effort and minimized scrap. With CRDR, the roll database provides all the information to optimize roll repair and to minimize scrap.
- Reduced inventory cost. Supports sale of roll in storage based on specific quality reports.
The CRDR extends the view on the web quality from the produced reels to the customer rolls resulting from slitting. It maps the defects of a previously inspected reel to customer rolls according to the slitting plan. The customer roll's quality information can be documented with a customer specific roll report.
CRDR complements ISRA VISION Parsytec's paper product family. The HTP 5.0 Toolsuite Edition detects and classifies the defect data at the production line. The Unwind Control System (UCS) 5.0 enables automated stops for defects at a winder or re-reeler, and thus allows to easily verify abnormal defects. The roll specific reports generated by CRDR finally provides full transparency of the paper's quality gained so far. CRDR has access to the integrated data of both HTP and UCS databases. Out of those, it derives its own targeted and independent database.
